can anyone tell me what song writing techniques are used in david bowies ‘life on mars’, how the song is arranged, key changes etc rather than what is does lyrically..?

it would be a big help cos when it comes to writing about songwriting i suckkk

It’s a little known fact that all his songs originally began with “Smoochy, I want to make sweet love to you by the fire”, but then Iman goes into a jealous rage and he has to rework them.
