Question by Gracie: Is it a good idea to allow people to download entertainment before they travel on long journey?
Will it be a good idea if we can download different type of entertainment onto our portable device such as PDA and PSP before we travel on a long journey? For example, downloading a movie onto the PSP to watch on the train journey.

I don’t see why not. If you can watch a provided movie on a plane, why can’t you watch whatever you want to watch on your own portable device?

    as long as you all have earphones of a style that can’t be heard by your fellow travellers.

    GNER in the UK now offers WiFi, so you can use the internet. First Great Western also experimented with seatback TV (with about 10 channels to choose from) but at £2million per coach it didn’t go further.
