   Grace.

   One attribute that comes off of good heart, good intellect, good intentions, and calming beauty.

   Its quite different from charm which is something one can fake. But the grace flows from a well within that is deep.

   Sense of humour is definitely one of the key personality factors. IQ is way over rated, and emotional intelligence is much more important. There are far too many clever/humourless girls in the world – they are usually unhappy and seem determined to spread it around.

   Massive bristols is the other key personality factor.

   Yes, it is just one of the many things that a woman can look for in men. I’d say compatibility is the most important thing I look for in women, but that’s just me.

   Here’s a short list:

   1) Passion: both sexual and for life in general

   2) Compassion

   3) Intelligence: not necessarily of the ‘inborn’ kind, but the kind that is curious and willing to think

   4) A sense of justice and fair-play toward all

   5) Warm and affectionate

   6) A sense of humor (in common with the man in question)

    Not trying to insult you, but many here need to see definitions because I suspect many don’t know the true meaning of words. Intelligence does not mean educated. Having morals and having manners are not the same thing.

    If you like someone, you will laugh with that person. They don’t have to be particularly funny outside of the relationship to have many laughs with you. If you don’t laugh with someone, you probably don’t like them all that much anyway. Why bother?

    What I look for: Basics like character and honesty are a given, but other than that i don’t have a particular thing. I just like who I like.

    You know, I am a very funny guy. Women tell me this and laugh, though whether they laugh at me or with me is a moot point. Thing is I look like a celebrity…Prince Charles to be exact ! Oh dear, now you see my problem. In my experience women love a guy with a sense of humour….if he looks like George Clooney. Fortunately I can always larf at myself, so that’s alright. What important things do a look for in a woman ? That’s easy, an ugly woman with huge norks. No hope for me really, is there ?

    To be able to relate to her. Respect, appreciation, and when i come home from work she should make me feel welcome in my own home.

    Sense of humor, intelligence, congeniality, optimism, and bold ambition are some of my favorite qualities in women. I also look for goals that compliment my own, such as a desire to have several children, travel, and for her to earn a lot of $$ so I can home-school the kids. I prefer to date women who have similar social-political tastes to mine. Since I am a strongly involved human rights activist, I think trying to date a conservative, or an anti feminist would put a huge strain on our relationship. I need my partner to be at least a moderate, though I’d prefer a woman who is as passionate about human rights as I am.

    Also since I have a hugely overactive libido, I need a woman who either matches me in bed, or has an open mind about open relationships. (Only about sex, my heart would be hers alone…And I am open minded about open relationships too.)

    Edit: Integrity is a deal breaking quality as well. I need to know we can trust each other.

    Everyone likes a sense of humour. So it’s the same for men too.
    Well, so they claim. In reality it’s not.
    The reality is more like, a woman who will not talk when there’s football on, who will not scoff at sex jokes etc. That’s what they mean by sense of humour.
